So, yes, if you want to get USB3.0 speeds, you''re going to need a USB3.0 drive enclosure plus a motherboard that has USB3.0 ports. The part the drive plays in this is only to provide the original high speed if it''s at least as fast as USB3.0 speeds, it''ll be fine. If it''s slower, you won''t get USB3.0 speeds because the drive can only go as fast as it can go.Hope that makes sense.Cheers,Darrren.
